Zest-it Artist Adhesive Remover safely removes Hinging Tape, Glue Dots, Masking Fluid and the sticky residue from
paper, wood, mount board, glass, fabric, plastic and china.
Works gently and safely without harming the surface.
To use with glue dots:-
apply a small amount of Zest-itArtist Adhesive Remover using a long soft filament brush along the edge of the dot, wait 30-60 seconds,
Slide the brush along the edge again, using the bristles of the brush to gently lift the dot and its stickyness from the surface.
Re-apply more fluid using the brush as required to fully remove the tape.
Zest-it Artist Adhesive Remover removes the dot, the glue and any sticky residue, lifting it away without any damage to your work.
Allow to fully dry before handling, or resticking.
It leaves no residue or stain.
To reverse the adhesives of various securing tapes
used to mount and hang pictures, photgraphs and works of art in to frames or onto mount board.
Works especailly well with the highly adhesive PH7-70 archival conservation tape widely used by framers.
To use with adhesive tapes:-
apply a small amount of Zest-it Artist Adhesive Remover using a long soft brush along the edge of the tape, wait 30-60 seconds,
Slide the brush along the edge again, as the brush is moved, the bristles of the brush slide between the tape
and the surface as the Zest-it releases the tape gently from the surface.
Re-apply more fluid using the brush as required to fully remove the tape.
Zest-it Artist Adhesive Remover allows the tape and any sticky adhesive to be lifted away without leaving any residue.
Allow to dry for 24/36 hours before handling.
This method works well for brushes 'stiff' with masking fluid.
Soak the brush in a small amount of Zest-it for about fifteen minutes, it should feel soft and 'gooey' to the touch.
Gently roll the filaments between your fingers to loosen the masking fluid, remove the 'gooey' masking fluid with kitchen towel, then wash the brush in Zest-it. Repeat as necessary.
When all masking fluid has been removed, wash the brush and your hands in soap and water until clean.
Zest-it Artist Adhesive Remover is not an aggressive remover, so patience is rewarded.
